This morning we bought a couple cheap novels from a local couple touring in their bus, running a book exchange from one of their storage cabinets. It was a quick morning of boring riding to the Nelson Lakes National Park where we set up camp on the side of the lake and settled in for some easy reading and relaxing with a box of wine and some carrot cake... great thing about all this exercise: we're guilt-free with the treats!
