Bike Trip - Day 12: Greymouth to Barrytown

For the first time, today I thought to myself: "What the *&$% are we doing?" The rain dumped down on us as we plowed our way uphill AND upwind along the Western coast. The ocean views WOULD have been beautiful, if we'd been able to see anything... happily, a rustic backpacker's lodge appeared only 26 km after we left Greymouth and we took shelter for the afternoon. The sun eventually appeared, we enjoyed a stroll on the beach and spent the evening in front of a gorgeous fire.
