New digs...

Well, we couldn't exactly stay in our current flat with 48 steps and 1 bedroom with twinsies on the way now could we. We found a new place in Island Bay, on the south coast of the North Island. Island Bay is a cute little community that is on a beach south of the City, with its own little downtown, complete with a small comfy theatre, grocery store, video store and cafes. Pretty neat. Our place will not have the beautiful views we have had, but the compromises are starting! It has drive up access into a 2car parking lot, no steps to get into the house. Storage for windsurf kit behind the flat, and a nice sized grassy area behind the flat for afternoon naps and BBQs. The drawback? Well, we certainly wish that our car hadn't been pimped out by the previous owner. Since it was lowered, it scrapes real bad driving in and out of the driveway. So, looks like Momo will get an adjustment and be un-lowered. Pictures coming soon when we have them, but this shows where Island Bay is and where our place is.
